Government of Adygea spent more than 1 billion rubles on healthcare

The steps of "Modernization Program of the Healthcare of the Republic of Adygea for 2011-2012" were provided with about 1.2 billion rubles. At the beginning of the year the amount of money spent was more than 1 billion rubles, or 90.2% of the plan.

"915,500,000 rubles was allocated for strengthening the material-technical base of medical institutions, including those of the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund - more than 720 million rubles, including funds from the consolidated budget of the Republic of Adygea in the amount of 195.4 million rubles”, the press service of the head of Adygea reported.

524.5 million rubles is allocated for major repairs and construction of 49 health facilities; hospitals received new high-tech equipment.

"All work undertaken is aimed at creating a comfortable environment for the patients, but people in hospitals need adequate food and medical supplies. Yeah, the amount for food for one day in the hospital has doubled to $ 100; however, it is not the amount that can meet the real needs. And the lack of drugs in hospitals has become a talk of the town”, head of the republic Aslan Tkhakushinov said, YUGA reports.
