Patriarch Cyril and Ramzan Kadyrov called to solidarity and unity

Cyril, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia has held a service for
the people who have suffered as a result of the act of terror in the
Moscow metro on Monday and called on Russian citizens to show
solidarity. He said that it was very cynical of the city's
taxi-drivers to profit from the catastrophe. Taxi drivers in Moscow
raised their fares, as people couldn’t use the metro due to the
explosions and had to take taxis, Interfax reports.

Despite the patriarch’s call for solidarity between Russian citizens,
several cases of attacks on Muslims were reported today. Muslim women
were amongst those attacked.

The President of Chechnya called on regional heads and the Russian
public to unite against terrorism and Wahabiism and urged no
particular region to be associated with the executors of these acts of
terror. He also emphasized that the law enforcement agencies of
Chechnya are ready to assist in any possible way in the investigation
and search for the criminals.
