Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has urged the local clerics to prevent young people from joining the Syrian conflict.
Kadyrov noted earlier that children from poor families in Europe were moving to Syria to loot and kill. He emphasized that no Jihad was announced by any Chechen religious authority. The Chechen leader added that people in Syria were fighting for power and resources and both the government and opposition were wrong.
