Families of Georgian soldiers killed in Afghanistan will receive compensations worth 100,000 lari (about $60,000), Georgia Online cites Defense Minister Irakly Alasania.
Families whose children died protecting territorial unity and independence, including the war in Abkhazia, will receive 1000 lari every month. Payments will be made starting in 2014 and ending in 2015.
