Journalists from Kuwait and Lebanon visit Chechnya

 

Journalists from Kuwait and Lebanon arrive in Chechnya today to meet its leader Ramzan Kadyrov and observe changes in the republic, the Chechen government cites Yusef Khalid al-Marzuk, Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Anba newspaper of Kuwait.

Al-Anba is a newspaper published in Kuwait since 1976 in Arabic. About 100,000 copies of the paper are published.

Mohammad Basam al-Hussein, director of the paper from Lebanon, is part of the delegation.

The Ministry for Information of Kuwait and the Chechen Ministry for National Policy, Press and Information signed an agreement in 2012 to train about 20 journalists from Chechnya.
