The head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, plans to meet with students and graduates of Russian universities from the region to discuss the plans and intentions of the young professionals. The republic needs young professionals to come home, and will try to attract them to work there.
"We expect all graduates back in Karachay-Cherkessia. I plan to meet with young people who are still studying in the near future, and am also ready to gather the youths who are graduating these year and talk to them. The republic's authorities today are interested in young people who want to work for the good of their country, homeland, and are ready to articulate and implement their ideas and innovative thinking," the press service quotes Rashid Temrezov.
In his opinion, it is critical that young people who have graduated from major metropolitan universities in technical disciplines return home.
"I am ready to talk with the alumni, with each of them individually about what role they see for themselves in society, in Russia and in our Karachay-Cherkessia. We have very active and educated youth, one that should, and I am sure will benefit their country," Temrezov said.
