A resident of the town of Buynaksk, arrested for drug possession, has been killed by the police while trying to escape. The incident occurred at 14:14. The Buynaksk resident, who was arrested on a court order on charges of possession of a large quantity of drugs, was brought to Makhachkala for examination for drug addiction.
"Already in Makhachkala the arrestee tried to escape from custody. The police officers guarding him fired two warning shots, but that did not stop the runaway.
