On June 22 Russia marks Day of Memory and Grief. On this day in 1941 Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union. Some 27 million Soviet people perished during the war.
Special activities are going to be held all over Russia.
The first meeting was held near the Brest Fortress, which is the symbol of the beginning of the war.
