More than 20 violators of the state border were detained in the border regions of North Ossetia, with the assistance of local residents and members of national militia groups.
"Active work and help from militia groups yields better results. Moreover, from June 1 the Cossacks living in the border areas of North Ossetia start to serve at the border," Interfax-South quotes the spokesperson of the Russian FSB Border Control in the Republic, Alexander Solod.
According to him, today there is a total of 100 people in the militia groups. In addition, the country has set up nine groups of young friends of the border guards.
