Thousands of protesters are gathering at the Taksim Square of Istanbul to express outrage over the release of a police officer suspected of killing a demonstrator, Trend reports.
Similar protests happened in other cities of Turkey. The demonstration in Istanbul was peaceful and saw no clashes with the police.
