Gunman kills policeman and wounds his partner in Stavropol

In Stavropol a criminal is wanted who shot at traffic policemen, killing one of them.

"On Wednesday, two employees of the traffic police were on duty in the Stavropol district close to the village of Sengileyevskoye. A gunman approached the police on a scooter and fired several times," the press service of the regional MOI is quoted by "Interfax-South".

The traffic police made an attempt to apprehend the man, during which the gunman took a few more shots. One policeman was killed at the scene and another was taken to hospital with injuries, according to a press release.
