Law enforcement officers of Krasnodar Territory and Karachay-Cherkessia have joined the operational-search measures against the gunman who fired on police today in Stavropol Territory.
"The front office received information about the car of the gunman – its brand, color and number. Presumably, it is a man behind the wheel," RIA Novosti quotes a representative of the Interior Ministry of Krasnodar Territory. Orientation has been sent out to all staff of the traffic police of the region.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Karachay-Cherkessia, Yevgenia Bostanova, also reported on the accession to the criminal investigation. "According to the plan of interaction between the Ministry of the Interior in Karachay-Cherkessia and Stavropol Territory, in such cases, the law enforcement agencies of the republic are immediately connected to the search,” she said.
As VK previously reported, today in the village of Sengileyevskoye in Stavropol Territory an unknown gunman fired at police officers, killing one of them and wounding another.
