Georgian students protest against the law on education lying

In Tbilisi the students of Ilia Chavchavadze State University today held a protest action against the new law on education.

Dissatisfied with it, students gathered in front of the relevant agencies and lay down on the pavement, covered with a poster with the slogan "Do not adopt the law about us without us."

The main requirement of the protesters was to keep the autonomy of universities and to remove from the law provisions on the right of the Prime Minister to appoint interim rectors.

As VK previously reported, it is not the first action opposing these measures.
