The life of a policeman wounded today in the Stavropol village of Sengileyevskoye is not in danger, a spokesman for the regional department of the Interior Ministry reports.
"The wounded policeman, the Deputy Chief of the separate battalion of traffic police of Stavropol, Vyacheslav Popov, is now in hospital, but his life is not in danger,” RIA Novosti quotes the spokesman.
A representative of the department said that the policeman who was killed was senior police lieutenant Andrey Kravchenko, who served in the same unit as Vyacheslav Popov.
As VK previously reported, today in the village of Sengileyevskoye in Stavropol Territory an unknown gunman fired at police officers, killing one of them and wounding another.
