The quota for pilgrimage in Mecca was increased by 1400 to 3600 people for Azerbaijan. 4000 people have filed documents for the pilgrimage.
Reception of documents for hajj ended at the end of last week. The Caucasus Muslim Administration is the only structure to work on hajj issues. The pilgrimage will start on October 2.
Hajj will be organized for 3250 manats for those who stay at medium-quality hotels and for 4100 manats for better hotels. Pilgrims will only be organized by air. Bus transportation was cancelled over the conflict in Syria.
