A climber from Saint-Petersburg died at the Bezengi Gorge in the Chereksky District of Kabardino-Balkaria, Interfax reports.
The climber was passing the Vershov route and was on his way to the Peak of Ak-Kaya at a height of 3350m. A group of 10 people was not registered at the Elbrus Highland Search and Rescue Group of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies.
