Turkish hackers hack website of Istanbul administration and write debts off

Turkish hacker group Redhack has hacked the Istanbul's administration's website and has written off some public organizations' debts to the state, Trend reports with reference to Radical newspaper.

Redhack removed the debts for electricity, water, internet and gas, which the public organizations were to pay to the state.

According to Redhack, the group removed the debts as a sign of protest against the fact that the Turkish authorities suppress the demonstrations in Taksim Square.

Four people died, around 4000 received injuries during the recent proteset in Turkey, while 4900 were detained by the police.
