Maryam Isayeva, Dean of the Pedagogue and Psychology Faculty of the Chechen State Pedagogic Institute, has been sentenced by the Leninsky District Court of Grozny, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
According to the prosecutors, Isayeva received a bribe worth 30,000 rubles from a student on April 1, 2013, for permission to be allowed to pass exams for the summer session.
Isayeva was sentenced to pay 1.2 million rubles and dismissed for 1.5 years.
