Suliko Khozrevanidze, a Khwaja from Samtatskaro in Georgia, said that his family was attacked and insulted on June 29 and banned from the yard by 15 locals after refusing to attend Friday prayers, Georgia Online reports.
US diplomats met the man’s family and head of the village Gulnara Nadirashvili.
Tariela Nakaidze, head of the Union of Muslims of Georgia, said that the village was expecting arrival of State Minister for Reintegration Paata Zakareishvili. She added that Georgian People’s Protector Ucha Nanuashvili was planning to arrive today.
