Case on explosion at traffic police post in Makhachkala goes to court

The investigators and prosecutors have brought to trial the case of an alleged militant Ruslan Ismailov, who is accused of organizing the attack on traffic police post in Makhachkala on May 3, 2012, and killing 14 people, the IC of Russia says. 

"As part of a criminal association Ismailov took part in the commission of a terrorist act ... by two car bombings near a stationary traffic police post located in the  Kammaev street in Makhachkala. As a result of the attack 14 people have been killed, and more than 80 received injuries of varying severity, including members of the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Extensive property damage of more than 20 million rubles has been caused," RIA Novosti quotes the statement.
