Samir Sanyev, Elmir Nuraliyev, Faig Sultanov and other suspects have admitted preparations of terrorist attack at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2012 and murder of a police colonel, Trend reports.
Sanyev attended a terrorist meeting at Kadar in February 2011 together with Vugar Padarov and Elmir Nuraliyev. Ibragimkhalil Daudov, amir of the Dagestani Front, appointed Padarov as an amir.
Padarov, Sanyev and Nuraliyev crossed the Dagestani border and went to the Gusarsky District of Azerbaijan. They met Amir Muradov who took them to Sumgayit. Sanyev went to Baku, others to Zagatala. Padarov planned assassination of Azerbaijani president.
Terrorist attacks were planned at the Hilton Baku Hotel, JW Marriot Hotel Absheron, Baku Crystal Hall and the State Flag Square. Timur Guseynov was one of their targets.
