Ruslan Magomedov, an employee of RusHydro, died at the intensive care center of the Central Hospital of the Levashinsky District of Dagestan yesterday after an attack in Khajalmakhi on July 1, Interfax-South reports.
Artur Zakharyan, an advisor of Dagestani representative to the Russian president, was one of the passengers attacked in Khajalmakhi. Magomedov was shot in the head. Investigators identified the assailant: it was a local neighbourhood guard who opened fire for refusal of the passengers to allow inspection of their vehicle. The shooter was caught the same night.
