A homemade bomb with capacity of 30 kilograms of TNT has been discovered and defused on a road in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan, a spokesman of the operational headquarters of the republic said.
A car battery and a "lager" with wires attached have been discovered on the side of the road near the village of Mutsalaul. A gas cylinder filled with nitre and powdered ammonia was located 50 meters further, RIA Novosti reports.
The explosive device has been defused by undermining the charge. The investigators are working on the scene.
