The head of the Dagestan Medical Academy has been arrested on suspicion of large scale fraud, a source close to the law enforcement bodies announced.
"The head of the Medical Academy, Abdurahman Osman, was arrested on Monday after the exam in biology was completed. The head of the institution is suspected of large scale fraud," RIA Novosti quotes the source.
As previously reported, during the investigation, documents were taken from the rector's office, accounts, human resources and other departments.
