Grozny hosts talks on integration of young people

The Chechen Ministry for Youth has opened a two-day international youth conference organized by the ministry and the Council of Europe, the Chechen government reports.

Reports will be presented by Alexander Gessel, head of the department for political affairs of the Council of Europe, Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov, Prime Minister of Chechnya, Igor Kapyrin, deputy director of the department for European cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Officials from Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Stavropol Territory, North Ossetia and NGOs will attend the talks.

Participants of the conference will discuss integration of young people of the North Caucasian Federal District in the Russian and European social and cultural spheres, multiculturalism in North Caucasus and role of religion in the process.
