About 12 official websites, including websites of the Dagestani government and president, have been DDOSed for over a week, RIA Novosti cites Magomedbek Ahmedov, spokesman of the Dagestani government and president.
He said that the sites were attacked from the Emirates and Canada. The websites should be back up on Thursday-Friday.
The Dagestan information agency, Dagestan broadcasting company, newspapers Novoye Delo and Chernovik are among the targets of hackers.
