Yerlik Kenenbaev, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, has been in a traffic accident with his family on the road between Pavlodar and Astana, near the village of Shiderty. Six people were in the car when it went off the road and overturned, the driver, Kenenbaev himself, his wife, son and two relatives.
The driver, Kenenbaev's wife and son died on the spot. The deputy minister and his surviving family members were taken to hospital.
