All funds collected as part of the action of the all-Armenian International Youth Center to help victims of Russian fires will be directed to the regions of Nizhniy Novgorod and Voronezh, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the center.
This decision was made at a session of the regional representatives of the center today. President of the center Andranik Nikogosyan said that the fires this year in Russia "are a real challenge, to which Armenia cannot remain indifferent", News Armenia reports.
Over 1000 young people joined the action. The center urged all other social organizations to participate.
The all-Armenian International Youth Center expressed readiness on August 2nd to send its volunteers to aid Russian victims of forest fires.
