Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov has signed a decree on the start of the military draft in the republic.
The draft will last from April 1 until July, YUGA.ru reports.
“From April 1, the draft into military service of citizens born between 1983 and 1992 will take place on the territory of the republic,” a joint presidential and government statement said.
The statement also said reservists would be called up.
