A 30-year-old resident of Nalchik has been caught in Kabardino-Balkaria for cashing 650,000 rubles using Sberbank cash machines, ITAR-TASS reports.
He was taking 22 authentic 5,000-ruble banknotes, cutting them into two and then sticking them back together in a certain order. He was receiving 23 banknotes of smaller value. The Kissan Newton-F machine did not find errors in the process.
The fraudster passed 130 banknotes of 5,000 rubles for 650,000 rubles. He was caught at the Gorny Trade Center. He may get up to 2 years of prison.
