The police killed three out of four militants who opened fire at them during an ID check in Nalchik at about 0.05 am, RIA Novosti reports.
27-year-old Senior Sergeant Arsen Shamparov was hospitalized with wounds and died at about 3.40 am. A criminal case was initiated. The assailants may be sentenced for life. The group of police officers will be awarded.
