Igor Zotov, Director of the Valery Gergiyev Foundation charity, and his friend Kazbek Lakuti have been charged with stealing 245 million rubles from the foundation, RIA Novosti reports.
According to investigators, Zotov and Lakuti transferred finances of the foundation to companies they controlled to host two festivals and purchased six apartments and six parking spots in a luxurious building of the Moscow center in 2009. They registered the apartments and parking as property of their spouses.
