About 700 people from Tarki (Makhachkala) and Novostroy (Kumtorkalinsky District) started disorders at Cherniye Kamni (Kumtorkalinsky District) on Wednesday as a result of dispute over the area, RIA Novosti reports.
The verbal dispute turned into rocks and bottles thrown at each other. Four police officers trying to stop the fight were injured. One of them was hospitalized. The Vulkan-1 plan was launched, traffic on the Makhachkala-Astrakhan Highway was reduced. 630 officers were mobilized to maintain order.
Dagestani acting interior minister, deputy police chiefs, head of the directorate for public order protection, officials of the Ministry for Emergencies and directorate of the Investigative Committee arrived to the place of incident. The conflict ended at 11.00 pm. 70 police officers are patrolling the area.
