About 84.5% of 3,000 Iranians aged 18-29 questioned in 14 cities want fixed-term marriages, Trend reports.

About 62.9% would avoid such marriages to prevent damage to their reputation.

Fixed-term marriages in Iran may be made if the man lacks the necessary finances. The marriages may be extended or terminated, depending on wishes of the couple.

The number of websites offering services to make fixed-term marriages has increased in the past year. The Iranian cyber police plans to make additional efforts to combat such websites. The Iranian Ministry for Youth and Sports consists the list of legal law centers.
