Kazakhstan marks Constitution Day

Kazakhstan is marking the 18th anniversary of the Constitution, Trend reports.

Kazakh State Secretary Marat Tajin read out the congratulation message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev at a science conference entitled ‘Constitution – the basis of the strategy for development of the society and state’.

Igor Rogov, head of the Kazakh Constitutional Council, noted that the country was on its way to becoming one of the top 30 developed states in 2050.

Kazakhstan will have a day off on August 30. Over 40 events will be organized to mark the anniversary.
