This year more than 1250 flats will be built this year for officers of the 58th army of the SMD in various residential areas of the North Caucasus, the press service of the South Military District reports.
“The flats will be built for more than 3500 officers and their families,” a press service representative said, adding that the flats would be equipped with furniture and household appliances.
Moreover, eight two-storey houses of 36 flats each will be built for Russian officers serving in South Ossetia by the end of the year. Along with building houses, construction of necessary infrastructure is provided.
