Dagestan Mufti: Terrorist attacks in Russia - blow to Islam.

Terrorist attacks on Russian territory are first of all a blow to Islam, considers Dagestan mufti Akhmed-kadzhi Abdylaev. As reports press service of the Religious Board of Muslims of the republic, it is said in the address of mufti, that "nowadays the ideas of violence and hatred are strenuously inculcated in minds of some Dagestan people, but without slightest doubt not a single person has the right to attempt a man's life in peacetime".
 "If, as claim extremists, it were about the fight against corruption, I would call it delusional, since corruption can not be rooted out even by means of killing hundreds of people. Only responsibility before God can turn any man into a good one, into a patriot of his country, religion, nation", - believes mufti, as reports RosBalt.

"If we truly accept the idea that they aim at establishment of religion in this region, then just check out on what territory they want to establish it. Dagestan is the only republic, which has preserved the heritage of Islam during the challenging times of the soviet governing, - he pointed out.

"They declare on their sites that they will recognize authorities only when the President of Dagestan put off Brioni coat and get dressed modestly till the last pauper in the republic will be able to afford to have branded cloths. At first sight it is a noble question formulation, but I believe, his coat is not the only thing they want. History shows they will obviously want his post as well." - said Akhmed-kadzhi Abdylaev.

Against the background of such demands and terrorist acts in Moscow, Aksai, and Kizlyar mufli questions the demand of some deputies to revoke law banning wahhabism.

"The experience of year 1999 shows that Muslims of the Republic of Dagestan will never support the idea of terror and violence. Since 90s spiritual leaders of Dagestan address people with an appeal to turn to truly Islam. And now I address to imams and alims of Dagestan. Pray to God for those who have chosen the wrong way, so that they repent, come to senses and start peaceful in traditions of truly Islam.
