Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Heart of Chechnya Mosque will not take part in the Russia-10 Contest as a response to violations by the MegaFon and Beeline mobile phone operators, Interfax reports.
He promised that he will ignore any calls he receives from clients of the two companies.
Kadyrov added that thousands of local residents will sue the companies to get refunds of the money they spend on votes during the contest. He believes that the operators made all the possible barriers to prevent the Heart of Chechnya Mosque from winning the contest.
The companies blamed organizers of the contest for the inconvenienves.
