Complaint of Krasnaya Polyana director general to be considered in Moscow

The Moscow City Court will consider the complaint over the arrest of Stanislav Khatskevich, ex-Director General of Krasnaya Polyana suspected of excess of authority in construction of Sochi Olympic facilities, RIA Novosti reports.

His lawyers want the suspect to be released for 3 million rubles.

According to the police, Khatskevich signed deals with Olimpstroy in July 2009 to finance construction of the Gornaya Karusel sports complex. Over 1 billion rubles received from Sberbank in 2011 were transferred to deposits at NBRB where Magomed Bilalov was the head of the board of directors. The interest rate was 4-7%.

A set of deals for loans with an interest rate of 12.5% were made. The income made exceeded 45.5 million rubles.
