Not all is well with the young people of the Caucasus

Report from the pan-Caucasus youth education camp "Mashuk-2010"
During the first pan-Caucasus youth education camp "Mashuk-2010", a big press-conference has taken place, dedicated to youth politics and the work of the conference itself. The head of the federal youth agency Vasiliy Yakimenko, deputy representative of the Russian president in the North Caucasus District Yuri Olenikov, governor of Stavropol territory Valery Gaevskiy, archbishop of Stavropol and Vladikavkaz Feofan and chairman of the Coordination center of Muslims of the North Caucasus, Ismail-Hadzhy Berdiev, answered questions put by journalists and participants.

The first question, addressed to the head of the region hosting "Mashuk", Valery Gaevskiy, was how the authorities solve the problems of international relationships among the young.
The governor noted that cooperation between nations and religions is crucial in his administrative policy. Several programs are set to solve these problems.
But at the same time, he admitted, there are still a lot of problems to be solved.
"We see ways of solving these points of tension when we meet at a round table and have eye contact. It is possible to solve practically any problem, but one cannot build a paradise on only one territory. It is important that the paths of all regions of the Caucasus lead to peace and agreement, to developing our economies and young people finding their way. Then everything will be fine,"-said the governor.
He also noted that he sees tourism as one of the most important branches of the economy of the region and that it could lift the sector.
The international educational camp "Mashuk-2010" started working on the 8th of August on the hill of Mashuk. It's playground is one of the slopes of the mountain.
