Iran to hold mass air defense exercises

The commander of the Air Defense base defenses, Khatam al-Anbiya, and the commander of Iran's Air Defense troops, Farzad Esmaeili, said that Iran will hold a mass military exercises of its air defense forces (AD).

In particular, Esmaeili said that the exercises will be held in late October and early November, adding that all the forces of the National Army and the AD of Iran will take part in the exercises. The exercise will take place in cold weather, difficult terrain and mountainous areas, the commander said. He also stressed that Iran is going to use state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles and aircraft.
