The executive director of Gazprom Gas Distribution Cherkessk, Valentine Nashev, told the head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, about the progress in gas supply and gasification development of Karachay-Cherkessia for the period 2012-2015.
More than 30 settlements of Karachay-Cherkessia will have gas supplies before 2015, he said. In the specified period 16 gas pipelines will be built, which will provide gas from more than 30 localities in five regions of the country, YUGA.RU reports.
The program of joint action for supplying gas to settlements in Karachay-Cherkessia was agreed at a bilateral meeting in Moscow in late 2011.
