12 young Cherkessian politicians, public figures, scientists, businessmen and students from Turkey and Jordan have arrived in Kabardino-Balkaria to discuss new economic and socio-cultural relations, Interfax-South cites Muhamed Kodzokov, Deputy Prime Minister of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The official promised to expand ties with Adygs.
Businessman Yanal Ansuk (Jordan) noted the importance of cooperation with young people and creation of joint projects for agriculture, science, culture, sports, education.
Bislan Jaluk’ue, a member of the Congress of Young People of the Cherkessian Society in Ankara, discussed the problem of the simplified procedure for naturalization of compatriots in Russia. The Sochi 2014 Olympic Games was another topic for the talks.
The Cherkessian community consists of 170,000 people in Jordan and about 3.5-4 million in Turkey.
