The remains of 50 Soviet soldiers found within the "Memory Watch" action dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Battle for the Caucasus were laid to rest in the village of Terskol in the Elbrus region of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Search teams worked on the slopes of the Mount Elbrus for about two months. The burial ceremony completed this heroic and patriotic event, the website of the head of the regional government reports.
