The Moscow-Sukhumi train stopped at Tsandripsh (Gagry District, Abkhazia) has arrived to its destination, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to the schedule, the train was to arrive in Gagry at 8.11 am and then to Sukhumi in 1.5 hours. About 600 passengers on the train were evacuated due to heavy rains in the area, as stated by Abesalom Beya, deputy head of the Gagry administration.
Floods caused by rivers submerged houses at Bzypta and Alakhadzy. Damage was caused in the Ochamchir District.
