A police officer, who has recently been attacked in the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala, died in hospital on Sunday, RIA Novosti cites the republic's interior ministry as saying.
The policemen was shot in the head yesterday at around 5.30 p.m. Unknown persons attacked a police police detachment on the Akushinsky avenue. One policemen died immediately, four more were wounded.
