The foundation of the Medical Chamber of Kabardino-Balkaria was announced at a conference on the role of public organizations in healthcare development hosted by Nalchik yesterday, Yuga.ru reports.
Leonid Roshal, a well-known Russian pediatrician and surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, President of the National Medical Chamber, took part in the conference.
Irma Shetova, Minister for Healthcare and Resorts, noted that professional autonomous organizations were controlling healthcare centers in advanced countries of the world. She said that public interest in healthcare demands was rising.
Murat Umetov, head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Science Society of Therapists, Doctor of Medical Sciences, became the Chief Freelance Pharmacologist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Healthcare Ministry.
