Today at the side of the Diyarbakir-Bingol road in the Turkish province of Diyarbakir police found 100 kg of explosives. The highway was closed to traffic for security reasons.
Traffic on the highway has now resumed and the explosives have been defused. An investigation is under way and there are suspicions of a terrorist attack being prepared.
