Meeting with diasporas in Stavropol's Parliament

The diasporas of the Stavropol Territory held a meeting at the Parliament of Stavropol to discuss ways of preventing ethnic conflicts, reports yuga.ru. The conflicts have roots deep into in the area's history, but provocative acts occur often. The representatives agreed that police should solve the problems, but the diasporas' leaders can improve the situation by attracting young people to various activities. All ethnicities have to respect each others' customs and have a friendly attitude towards each other and not separate into ethnic groups, they said.
