The hearing of the case of Boris Spiridonov, ex-Minister of Education of Karachay-Cherkessia suspected of demanding a bribe of over 500,000 rubles, starts today, Interfax reports.According to investigators, Spiridonov agreed to help with certificates of the Unified State Exam at the Center for Information Technologies. The candidates would receive 70 points for each subject without actually passing the tests. The fee was 1,000 rubles per point, making a total of 280,000 rubles.
The ex-minister is suspected of using the scheme twice.
